This fan has sharp and soft lines, an LED integrated down-light, and two diverse wood blade finishes, walnut and platinum. The stealth has a wonderful combination of modern and transitional design. The body is smooth and sculpted, the blades have strong lines and the light kit that beautifully blends into the body of the fan. Design
The design of the stealth exudes a sophisticated, bold, and refined appearance. The stealth makes me think of the beauty of a wooden airplane propeller and the curves of a motorcycle. I look at this fan and think, “this fan is going to lift the roof off the house!” With 5 speeds and its 54 inch blade span it can really get going and cool off a large sized room. A very nice aesthetic touch are the metal tips attached on each blade. These metal tips are slightly rounded and soften the appearance of the fan. The brushed nickel finish (which is the only finish available) and walnut blades, truly completes any room you put it in. The blade irons even blend into the body of the fan. Instead of having the standard blade arm reaching out away from the motor, these have a smooth slight lip that sticks out to attach each blade. The blade irons interlock visually with one another, giving a very solid look.
Remote and Light
The Stealth comes with a remote control, instead of a wall mounted control, so you can set the mood of the room from the comfort of your couch. The remote comes with a wall mountable holster, so you will not end up losing it as well. The remote is simple and straightforward. You can control the fan and the integrated light kit. The light button has an embossed light icon on it. Just hold down the light button and it will begin to dim, hold it again and the light will begin to brighten. You can bring it all the way down for a movie theater lighting experience and all the way up for a sophisticated game of pool with your pals. This down light is a smooth white bowl. There are no imperfections in it, no seams, nothing cheap looking about it at all. This bowl is molded with tabs in it to twist and lock it in place.
Blades
The all wood blades come in two finishes, walnut and platinum. The walnut finish would be ideal for a room with other wooden furniture or dark colored items. The walnut brings a warmth not just to the fan but to other pieces in the room, like your fine mahogany bookshelf filled with leather bound books. The walnut color is a very rich and luxurious hue. The platinum finish is much closer to the brushed nickel finish of the body, which brightens the fan all the way up. So, if you have a room with a lot of light colors, like white or tan, this color will not draw attention to it right away when you walk into the room. The platinum finish will take the fan to another level of “stealth”.
